🎉 Welcome Back, Mr. Kidd! 🎉
We’re excited to announce that Michael Kidd is returning to Deep Run as our new Director of Student Activities, starting July 14, 2025! 💙
Mr. Kidd’s passion for our school and community shined throughout the interview process. A respected leader in the VHSL and beyond, we're thrilled to welcome him back to Wildcat Nation! 🐾
We also want to thank Mr. George Bland for his leadership and dedication over the past year and a half. Wishing him all the best in his new role with Powhatan County Schools!

🎖️ Farewell, Sgt. Flynn! 🇺🇸
Today, Deep Run’s AFJROTC cadets gathered to celebrate and thank Sergeant Flynn on his last day with us before he returns to full-time service in the U.S. Air Force. In a heartfelt send-off, students hosted a pizza party in his honor, reflecting on his impact and leadership.
In a special tribute, Michael Juhasz handcrafted a flag box in his woodshop class—an honored tradition—to present to Sgt. Flynn as a token of appreciation for his service and mentorship.
Thank you, Sgt. Flynn, for your commitment to our students and country. Deep Run will always be grateful! 💙🐾 #AFJROTC #OnceAWildcatAlwaysAWildcat

✨ Andy’s Attic: A Vision Brought to Life ✨
Austin Leftwich’s Senior Exhibition wasn’t just an art show—it was an experience. From his layered mixed-media pieces to the way he thoughtfully guided viewers through the space, every detail reflected his vision, discipline, and follow-through.
Strategically presented and deeply personal, Andy’s Attic raised the bar for what a student-led exhibition can be. Proud is an understatement—Austin, you left something meaningful behind.

Both the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band earned unanimous Superior ratings at the 2025 VBODA Assessment! Additionally, a big round of applause for the Chamber Orchestra, which also achieved unanimous Superior ratings! 👏
