Last week, Mina Mohammed and Yuthika Jha represented our DRHS Equity Ambassadors at the April School Board Meeting. They highlighted the work our Equity Ambassador organization has done this year including Inclusivity Week and Culture Day. One of the primary goals of EA is to amplify student voices by engaging and educating them on issues of equity and inclusivity - we are thankful and proud of their work in our Wildcat community.

The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) recognized 21 Deep Run CIT students with an Aspirations in Computing Award. This award honors students for their computing-related achievements and interests, selecting recipients based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and future plans. Congratulations!
